YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


Support the category development team in:

Reinforce category management culture, basics/fundamentals across the organization, supporting countries to leverage profitable growth opportunities

  • Develop in countries, best in class catman processes, tools and capabilities across 4P’s (special focus in Presence, placement, promotion)
  • Develop executable Channel understanding, strategy & RTM tools to leverage growth opportunities (retail, ooh, emerging channels)
  • Foster communication and collaboration between countries, spreading fact-based learnings and best practices to gain competitive advantages
Capture shopper insights across EGG to improve EG POS execution

  • Develop EGG shopper research framework to support countries in future developments
  • Consolidate shopper knowledge base across EG countries
  • Drive shopper conversion through the right POS activation
Drive excellence in POS execution developing EG Perfect Store vision

  • Continue to build Perfect store Blueprint, Pios, Kpis - process, wow
  • Train PS program and assess Status Quo, Identify GAP to PERFECT
  • Drive implementation projects with countries
Improve market data reporting capabilities & connection between HQ and countries to support EGG business development

  • Standardize Compass FJND in EGG processes, aligned and communicated
  • Enhance market reporting Capabilities (compass) in actual and new segments & categories
  • Support in discovering new countries opportunities

requirements

YOUR COMPETENCIES:


  • Professional degree in business Management, ideally with an MBA or similar academic specialization. Market intelligence or Catman certificate is a plus
  • Solid Experience in category management in FMCG multinational companies (with documented experience in catman projects). Minimum 3 years experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, increase affinity to numeric data, and able to detect the life/story behind the numbers
  • High experience working with market knowledge tools (Iri or Nielsen, kantar or GFK, spaceman…)
  • Strategic and future-oriented approach; grasps a “bigger picture”
  • Takes initiative and proactively identifies new opportunities; looks for value-creation, hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills: networks and cooperates at all levels of organization and across functions and countries; demonstrates excellent consulting skills and customer-orientation; enjoys cooperation
  • Superior computer & database skills (Specially Excel). Power Point, PowerBI
  • Excellent English skills (negotiation level); any further languages of advantage
  • Flexibility to work from home / office in one of EG countries but is required flexibility to travel to HQ and/or countries.
